In my suitcase...from England
Here are the few things are brought back from my trip to the UK: 1. Porcelain bird from a car boot sale in Bath. I thought he would be perfect in the studio. 2. Second hand Laura Ashley shirt made at the time where they still had their garments manufactured in the UK. 3. Nail varnishes from BOOTS brand N.7 - I just loved those colors…  4. * Monday's coup de coeur *
This week my coup de coeur goes to the beautiful alpaca camelids.  Although alpacas are originally from south america, it is not that uncommon to now spot them on European hills.  Following my few days in London I headed to Bath and visited the Alpacas Valley farm near by.  I was already seduced by the extreme softness and quality of alpaca wool but I am now totally charmed by alpacas themselves...

* Monday's coup de coeur *
This week my heart melted for the french online shop NEEST. Their products selection is wonderful and I am particularly fond of their ‘daily life products’ - The Japanese dupsan ‘Harimi’ is one of my favourite! Their blog is also beautiful!

Today a friend of mine, who is a wonderful fine artist, has sent me pictures of statues while she was visiting the Brussels Court building for a project. She thought that I would appreciate their collars - Aren’t they just wonderful?! Merci Zini!

* Monday's coup de coeur *
Last week I discovered the work of Nanna Van Blaaderen - she does wonders with wool and I love her big knit pieces.  Discovering Nanna’s work inspired me to start a ‘Monday’s coup de coeur’ post where I will share something special every monday…so we can start the week on an inspiring note : ) www.nannavanblaaderen.com

Wool
I think it is now safe to start talking about wool (one of my favorite thing in the world!) as here in Belgium we are already getting our jumpers out…not much of an Indian summer…in fact, not much of a summer at all… Back home in the Pyrenees, during my summer holidays, I have been loving taking pictures of those sheep with their blue dots on their backs thinking of how...
